Bridgeland held its 11 th Annual Nature Fest, Saturday, April 28, at the Oak Meadow Park. One of the
favorite events held in Cypress annually, children of all ages flocked to experience a first-hand look at
exotic animals, and some indigenous to Texas. Dr. Evan Antin, People Magazine’s Official Pet Vet,
brought along some interesting creatures, sharing fascinating facts with a captivated audience.
Nature Fest goers were treated to interactive exhibits which included crocodiles, birds of prey, llamas
goats, and armadillo races; a plethora of food trucks, pony rides, and a petting zoo. Kids delighted in
cycling on gigantic butterfly bikes, climbed a rock wall, creating painted pots for Mom, and sat patiently
for face painters that transformed them into tigers, unicorns, and butterflies. While most of the
activities were free to the public, proceeds from the few paid activities will be donated to Cy-Hope.
