“I’ve turned my passion into my career!” – Angela, Angela Frenzel Designs
From a very early age, Angela loved designing and was known for her penchant for creating custom
curtains and textiles for her Barbie doll house. Growing up poor, she did not have the means to pursue a
career in interior design, and opted, instead, to accept a business scholarship to Oklahoma State
University. After a successful career in finance, Angela attended The New York Institute of Art and
Design. It was not until 2015 when Angela Frenzel Designs was launched, that Angela was able to fulfill
her life-long dream to become an interior designer.
Angela met Jeffrey, her husband, through rather unique circumstances and subsequently, shared a
whirlwind courtship. “We met on Match.com and married 8 weeks later. November 19 th , 2005. We were
married at Grace Manor in Galveston! That was 13 years ago, this month!
“I’ve been a creative soul for as long as I can remember. My grandmother is very creative and a
beautiful artist. She passed down the creative gene! My first paid job was Lullaby Lane Photography
Studio, a newborn photography studio in Cypress. Working with a shoe string budget, I created the
cutest space! It was such a fulfilling moment at project completion,” shares Angela.
Achieving her goal to become a top-notch interior designer took time, hard work, and effort. “I fine-
tuned my skills with study in design and I began my portfolio with my newly built home and began
networking. The plan was to take one project at a time, keeping things small – almost more of a hobby.
Through word of mouth referrals, the business grew and I left my corporate career at the beginning of
2018 to run the companies. I’ve turned my passion into my career.”
Angela owns and runs both Angela Frenzel Designs interior design firm and AFD Services LLC, a full-
service construction company. Jeffrey is an integral part of both companies and also works in
construction project management. “The Towne Lake community has been wonderful to work with. I’ve
created design on 30+ projects in the community and have been embraced as a company with repeat
clients and consistent referrals,” comments Angela.
Clients are effusive in their praise of Frenzel’s talent, citing her ability to understand their style and
design a polished look of which they can be proud for years to come.
“I chose Angela Frenzel as I knew her style would sync with mine and knew I could avoid indecisiveness
and uncertainty that I always run into! I’m glad I got her at the earlier part of her career because, mark
my words, a time will come when she’s too exclusive,” comments Michal M.
Angela and Jeffrey have three children: Kolton, Bella Grace, and Alex.
“Kolton, 18, graduated from Cypress Ranch High School and attends Lone Star College. Kolton is into
fitness, loves the gym and is interested in physical therapy as a career. He’s involved with our
companies and will run AFD Services one day.

Bella Grace, 11, is in 6th grade at Anthony Middle School. She loves art! Like her great grandmother,
Bella’s a talented artist. She’s an avid reader and wants to be a teacher.
Alex, 22, graduated from Langham Creek High School. He enjoys and studied Theatre Arts after
graduation,” shares their mother.
What does the couple do with leisure time? “We’re so busy, but when we do get down time, we enjoy
being together with a good NetFlix binge,” says Angela. The entrepreneur also enjoys cooking, hosting
events and, of course, designing. Jeffrey likes spending time at the range, mixing music and family time.
“We love the Riviera Maya area of Mexico for getaways,” comments Jeffrey. “Our goal is to travel more
together. Work Hard – Play Hard”
