Once again, the Taste of Cy-Fair Committee pulled off another successful event, benefiting Cy-Hope, Inc., a non-profit organization whose purpose is to bring hope and opportunity to every child in the Cy-Fair area. Despite the scorching temperatures, 2,200 guests packed the Lakeland Village Center in Bridgeland to sample tidbits of culinary delights from 43 community restaurants, as well as enjoy a wide array of libations from 14 wineries, and 29 breweries. Entertainment and a silent auction tent added to the excitement of the event. After all was said and done, the committee declared A Taste of Cy-Fair a rousing success, presenting Cy-Hope with a check for $52,000.
Cy-Hope Executive Director, Lynda Zelenka, was pleased with the turn-out. “It’s just a great showing of community for a Taste of Cy-Fair, and a wonderful way to support Cy-Hope.”
